Cuisenaire Rods Activity with Activities - Miniland

Miniland Activity Cuisenaire Rods are an essential teaching tool for introducing children to mathematical thinking in a hands-on, visual, and meaningful way.
This comprehensive set, consisting of 250 pieces of different lengths and colors, is designed to work on basic and advanced mathematical concepts as the level of difficulty increases.

The material also includes 16 exercise cards, each represented by a symbol that identifies the mathematical area to be developed:
• One-to-one correspondence, fundamental for initial logical relationships.
• Plane partitioning, which introduces notions of geometry and shapes.
• Magnitude and measurement, to understand proportions and equivalences.
• Quantity approximation, useful for starting counting, comparison, and basic addition.
These cards are arranged progressively, allowing the material to adapt to different learning levels, making it suitable both for beginners and for those who require greater challenges.
The use of rods encourages manipulative learning, allowing children to concretely understand concepts that would otherwise be abstract. Through play and experimentation, students can build, compare, measure, order, and decompose quantities, thereby strengthening mathematical logic, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning.
This set is also a valuable tool for special education, as it allows exercises to be adapted to the child's pace, facilitating visual and tactile understanding of concepts.
The Activity Rods with Activities - Miniland set comes in a practical carrying case with a handle, which keeps all the pieces organized and makes it easy to transport and store in the classroom or at home.
