Fun Play Rainbow Pebbles - EDX Education

The Fun Play Rainbow Pebbles by EDX Education is an exceptional manipulative material that invites children to explore, build, and learn through experimentation and creative play. With its vibrant, smooth-textured, stone-shaped pieces—known as "pebbles"—this set has become an essential tool in both homes and preschools due to its versatility and high educational value.

The set includes 36 stones in 6 different colors, carefully designed for little hands to manipulate comfortably. Their smooth texture and light weight encourage sensory exploration, while their organic shapes allow for creating figures, stacking, sorting, ordering, or making free-form compositions. This fosters the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and imagination.
In addition, the game includes 25 double-sided cards with activities designed to enhance structured learning. Children can follow patterns, reproduce images, work on sequencing, practice counting, associate colors and sizes, or solve small visual challenges. These cards are an excellent resource for introducing basic math concepts in a playful way, reinforcing skills such as attention, concentration, and logical thinking.
The included tray (25 x 25 x 25 cm) provides an organized play space that facilitates individual work, especially useful for directed activities or when wanting to maintain an orderly and defined environment. It is also ideal for using the pebbles in sensory setups, learning corners, or light tables, where their bright colors become even more attractive.
The Fun Play Rainbow Pebbles - EDX Education is a highly valued game in active pedagogies such as Montessori or Reggio Emilia, as it encourages free exploration and autonomous learning. Children can manipulate the stones without strict rules, creating structures and combinations based on their own interests.
