The BTBOX Strawberries Learn-to-Swim Float Vest for ages 4-6 is made of 5mm neoprene, which is very soft to the touch and features seams that do not irritate or harm a child's skin. It includes a safety strap to be placed between the legs so that the vest does not slip over the child's head when jumping into the water vertically or while simply floating. This strap is protected with neoprene to prevent chafing between the legs.
The vest features 8 compartments, each containing 3 buoyancy elements, for a total of 24. These elements can be removed gradually, allowing the child to improve their ability to float without assistance. Other vests only have 8 pieces, so buoyancy changes more abruptly when pieces are removed one by one. It protects against sun rays with a UPF 50+ protection factor.
