ASL English Sign Language Alphabet - Plantoys

The Plantoys ASL English Sign Language Alphabet is an educational tool designed to introduce children to the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet in an accessible and sensory way. The set includes 26 pieces, each featuring the letter in relief on one side and its corresponding illustration on the other, facilitating visual and tactile learning.
This toy was developed within the "Mom-Made" project, an initiative created in collaboration between mothers of children with special needs and PlanToys designers, with the goal of designing inclusive toys that encourage learning and communication.
The pieces are made of PlanWood, an eco-friendly and highly durable material crafted from surplus sawdust left over from the wood-cutting process. Its smooth surface and distinct relief allow children to easily perceive each letter through touch, promoting sensory learning.
Furthermore, the Plantoys ASL English Sign Language Alphabet stands out for its commitment to sustainability. It is produced using chemical-free processes, utilizing formaldehyde-free glues and non-toxic, soy and water-based vegetable dyes, ensuring a product that is safe for little ones and respectful of the environment.
